Why we built Binah around a fresh start, not a running total

Most budgeting apps treat every month as a continuation of the last one. Overspend in June, and July starts with a shortfall already hanging over it.

Binah works differently. Every calendar month begins with a clean total, your actual income, and whatever you choose to plan for. Nothing carried forward, nothing to catch up on.

A fresh start isn't the same as ignoring what happened

This isn't about pretending last month didn't happen. It's simply refusing to let last month's numbers decide how this one feels before it's even begun.

We built Binah around this idea deliberately, because the apps that made us feel furthest behind were never the ones missing features. They were the ones that never let a bad week end.
